Creole Choir of Cuba (BBC tonight)

I attended a special performance of this unique choir the Creole Choir of Cuba www.creolechoir.com last night at the Wilton's Hall http://www.wiltons.org.uk, a befitting venue (crumbling down like Havana)

It was wonderful and uplifting, they have amazing voices in a wonderful combination with the percussion arrangements, all music of Haitian origin.

It was a one-night only event but they might be back in September. They won a couple of awards at the Ediburgh Festival

If you expect salsa/reggaeton, tune in elsewhere, but you can check them out at Later with Jools tonight on BBC2 www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00sj2gk

I have some promo materials if you want to see them and will be posting them to facebook later.
